The Animal Kingdom is AMAZING...

As we get started on some animal kingdom research and powerpoints, here's a little inspiration:

Angler Fish

Solenodon
This cutie is actually the only mammal who has a venomous bite - like a rattlesnake.

Kiwi
Poor little fella, they can't fly!

Echidna
An ant-eating, egg-laying mammal - aren't they great!

Dugong
Kind of like a manatee with a vacuum nose...related to the elephant, too.

California Sea Cucumber

Mexican Walking Fish
On the brink of extinction....

Giant Weta
I would love to see one of these - guess I have to go to New Zealand!
