'Scope Skills

This was a big week for us - well, actually it was a week of really small things since we were learning how to use microscopes and stereoscopes. We found similarities and differences, looked at all sorts of things brought from home (dead crayfish, leaves with scaly mites, butterfly wings, and garlic skin are just a few I can think of...), and started talking about cells. Next week: plant and animal cells under the microscope!
