The Bacteria Kingdom

To learn about bacteria, we had to track some down and then try to grow it large enough to actually see it....luckily, bacteria is everywhere, so this wasn't too much of a challenge! While we were waiting 24hrs for it to grow in the incubator, we learned a bit about the cholera outbreak in London in 1854.


PS: Which place would you guess had more bacteria colonies: the boys' urinal or a computer keyboard? If you guessed the urinal, you're wrong!! After collecting our data, we found that the keyboard had TEN TIMES as many colonies! Make sure to wash your hands after checking your e-mail :)
