Genes, not Jeans

We suffered through a reproductive system review and spent some time learning about genetics and DNA. Amazingly enough, we were actually able to isolate DNA from green split peas and cheek cells to LOOK AT!! I wish there were photos of some of the genetic traits we compared, like earlobes, pinky fingers, dimples, and widow's peak hairlines, but the photographer forgot :)
