We had an early Saturday start, but it was worth it! The five of us recently went to the Girls' Science Discovery Day at UVM, hosted by the women med students. We talked with med students, got to practice being a doctor, learned how to treat some basic injuries, and spent time in the anatomy lab. The highlight of my day, other than seeing the girls having fun, was to watch real human lungs in action....It was a pretty incredible sight!
