New York City

New York City was SO AWESOME!!! We had so much fun! From Central park to the Empire State Building, and The Statue of Liberty to Ground Zero. Visiting tall buildings, beautiful parks, ice cream places, monuments, shops, everything!!! The seventh grade class plus lots of chaperones traveled to NYC on April 29, 2008 in two coach buses. We visited Central Park, The Museum of Natural History, Little Italy, China Town, Gelato's Icecream, and the Empire Statebuilding on the first day, and traveling through the Lincoln Tunnel to New Jersey where our hotel was awaiting ith soft, warm, comfy beds. The Next Day, we ate breakfast and then headed out to the Ferry that would take us to Ellis Island and Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty. Then, we took a ferry back to NYC and landed in Battery Park, We then traveled by Ground Zero and laanded at our last stop, South Street Seaport. We had a few hours of hanging with our friends, shopping, eating and relaxing. Then, we boarded the coach buses and headed home. We arrived at Leland and Gray about 10:15 p.m. on April 30. To go home and sleep. The next day everyone was tired nd weiry. But I think we all enjoyed our trip to NYC and we will never forget it!
